Ocean Series

I have been drawn to water since my early years growing up in Myrtleford, Victoria.

Endless summers were spent exploring beautiful mountain creeks alive with trout, submerged and absorbed in the rhythm of the river. More recently, living near the coast in Queensland has introduced the saltwater experience. Holidays at Lady Musgrave Island, with its abundant marine life and turquoise blue water has inspired the Ocean series. This work captures a fleeting moment. A school of fish swim in unison, as one organism, and yet each exhibiting its own personality.
